Broken Heart

Ever have a heart so broken that it took your breath away?
One that no one seem to understand, one that never went away?

A heart break so tremendous, so crushing and intense.
That there was no way to over come it's sheer existence?

Try and try you may, day after day.
Busy morning until night; bury the feelings goes the fight.
No use you find; in the battle of the mind.
Your heart wins this one again.
Until this heart break takes it's mend.

A kind of heart break you never knew existed before.
One that grows daily more and more?
A heart break that tears a soft heart apart.
One you didn't even know, the reason for which it did start?

Try and try I may, day after day.
Busy morning until night, to bury the feelings goes the fight.
No use I find; in the battle of the mind.
My heart wins this one again.
Until this heart break takes it's mend.

Such a heart break. Such tears; going on now for over a year.
"Why?" Is now the question "I" ask... in fear.
Heart break should be but a step closer to thee.
That's what it says in Psalm thirty four eighteen. *

Try and try I may, day after day.
Busy morning until night, to bury the feelings I fight.
No use I find; in the battle of the mind.
My heart wins this one again.
Until this heart break takes it's mend.

But this heart break is taking it's toll.
Stripping joy from this ol' soul.
Come thou Majesty, my Lord my true friend!
Faithfully to my heart break, please put an end!

Day after day, busy morning until night.
Take my broken heart a flight.
No use I find, in the battle of the mind.
You alone will change these times.
My heart wins this one again.
Because you alone will make this heart mend.

How many times can a heart be broken and still be repaired?
Take a 1000 piece puzzle with three pieces missing
Throw it to the ground and then scoop it up place it in a small box and place it in my chest…..This is my heart.

I feel as though I have almost completed this puzzle so many times and then, out of nowhere the puzzle explodes and falls to the ground, and I am left with a gapping whole in my chest.

Oh Lord, I can’t do it any more
I have never like puzzles to begin with!
Now…I like them even less….and now….where my heart used to beat; it just hurts.
I need you, Lord.  I need you to pick up the broken pieces of my heart, for me…and put them all back together…..please.

Piece by piece

One at a time
My Heavenly Father gently puts each piece of my heart in line

Counting each one
No matter which design
My Daddy God is sure each broken piece to find

Sitting in amazement
At my Lord’s feet
I watch as My Daddy God accomplishes this amazing feat

A struggle in tears;
A work for me
Is for God, a simple act of compassionate love that flows freely

Surrounded in Glory
Healing in His Wings
I am filled with Peace as His Heavenly Hosts Sing

Praises to the Lord
Mighty God above
Lord God of all, filled with compassion and love

Praise to the Lord!
Mighty God above

Lord God of all…..FILLED with compassion and love!

Thank YOU!!!!!
You've done it again!

Singing in the Caves

Singing in the Caves
A Dream

I was in an under ground prison. It was a cave with bars to keep us in. It was cold, dark and wet.  I was with many other people. There was great sadness and much sorrow. It was a prison for those who believed on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Although everyone that was in there had been put in prison for there boldness in preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. Their spirits had begun to grow weary after being imprisoned in such harsh conditions for so long. Discouragement had begun to set in and people began to speak words of despair. I began to pray and the Spirit of the Lord came upon me. My prayers soon turned into "new songs" of hope. I began to prophesy  "in song" - words of encouragement from the throne of God the Father.  I began to share the Father’s heart through my songs.
This was one of the songs I sang...

The Friend You've Wanted and The Friend You Need

I often wonder how I might be.
The friend you've wanted and the friend you need.
How I might share your worries and your fears.
How I might wipe away your tears.

Tell me.
Where do you go, when you're feeling oh so low?
Who do you turn to, when there's no place left to go?
When the ones who you love, seem so far away,
These are the times, I long to hear you say.

***
"Where are you?  Where are you, friend that I knew?
I need you.  I need you to help me make it through.
Where are you?  Where are you, friend that I love?
Come right now.  See me through.  Send your love from above."
***

You'll never know just what it means to me,
To walk and talk just you and me;
To share your joys and your miseries,
Have you forgotten, that I died for these?

So ~

Child, come to me when you're feeling oh so low.
Child, turn to me when there's no place left to go.
When the ones who you love, seem so far away,
Child, I'm right here, by your side, here to stay.

Go ahead. Call for me.
Child I'm right here.
Go ahead. And you'll see,
How happy you can be,
How happy we will be.

Word for the Day....Be Yourself

One step, one hour, one day at a time;

Don't be someone else;
Be yourself,

Watch your destiny unwind

During my time with the Lord  there were a couple of things He told me that I thought I would share on here.
As I believe both of these words, though spoken to me in prayer, are relevant for the entire Body of Christ.
***********
One was concerning the manifestation of supernatural gifts and abilities as well as the ability to see into the eternal realm. I asked the Lord why some were privi to  receive  in this area and other of His children were not, even though it was clear it was not a  question of faith or love for Him; and this was His answer...

"Concerning the 'supernatural nuggets'- those who seek after them will always seeks after them; however, those who seek after the finer things, [Me] these will find them; as they surround me."

Another word I wanted to share has to do with "stumbling along the way"....What the Lord told me when I came to Him with a repentant heart after feeling as though I had fallen short in my walk with Him; after questioning why He allows His children to go through such tough trials; some so harsh that it can even cause them to stumble and fall in their walk with Him. I knew the Lord had to have a good reason......as His word promises this.

This is what the Lord spoke to me,

"You have not fallen as far as you think you have. You have merely stumbled down upon one knee.
You are at a place now where you can make a choice to bow the other knee or try and keep going as you are and fall on the other knee.
It is only then that you will be where you need to be; the position needed ,to receive the power, to overcome the very weakness, that caused you to stumble."

My Glorious Weekend Away

When the others push me away you draw me close.
When the others knock me down you pick me up.
When I am dragged under by the multitudes of things you reach down and with your mighty omnipotent mighty right hand pull me out of the mess.
You love me so; Oh Lord, you really must love me so.
Each day passes by and you show me more grace;
amazing grace.
I watch the obstacles of nature; try to learn from the mistakes and traps mother nature sets for the wilds animals; and still I fall flat on my face like blundering fool! There you are in flat second ready and willing to pick me and help me to my feet! You are the amazing, wonderful God!
How can so very many people say, “There is no God.” There is such truth in the proverb that says, “A fool is a man that says in his heart there is no God.” For you show yourself in ALL things every day! It takes a fool NOT to see YOU in SOMEthing!
Thank you my God for life! For being my God! Thank you for choosing ME to reveal such truths to! For surely you could have chosen ANYone and you chose ME…….Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!!!!  Forever Thank you!

May my heart be a heart of thanksgiving….may my heart be a heart of love.
May I always seek to offer everything I have possession of BACK to you...as it came first from you... my gracious, Holy..God.

I have just spent thee most Glorious time away this past weekend!

I went away for just three short days to visit two very dear friends a few hundred miles away. However it proved to be quite the "divine appointment" for me! From the moment I got in my car Holy Spirit began to speak to me and when I got to the church Sunday morning confirmation continued through the Pastor's teaching....and YET again later Sunday evening as my friend and I served at a home for women in crisis, I had THEE most glorious time! I met three of the most wonderful women and had the privilege of serving them and praying with them and sharing "my" story with them. The Lord spoke very clearly to me that evening as well! I will always remember you precious beautiful ladies!

I came away from the weekend with MUCH direction and feeling as though I had been away for at least a week! A very super natural experience for sure. One which I have still yet to fully take in.

"Oh Lord you are so gracious and wonderful and always faithful. Once again You have heard my cry and spoken to me. You know that even if I had not heard from You so clearly regarding this issue I would feel the same way. You are all there is for me. My hearts cry is Your hearts cry. My prayer is there will be less of me and more of You! Until I can not feel the wind on my face unless You are feeling it on yours; that every breath I breath would say “I love you”….that every word I speak would Glorify YOU my God and edify all man kind to an  end of drawing them closer to your divine purpose for their life...without prejudice Lord. Having your eyes as my own to see everyone as YOU do, not as I would be inclined to see them. Oh Lord that even the thought and intent of my heart would please you my Holy Father  and make room for your anointing upon me to move me into Your perfect will and work so that every step I take would draw me closer and closer to being completely conformed to the image of Your Son Yehsua…..so when I am living my life in the world people will be drawn to me as they were drawn to your  son Yeshua; so when I offer a hug, a word a prayer at the gas station, at the coffee shop, at work, where EVER I am…..lives are changed, transformed, made whole…souls are reunited with their creator!!!! To the JOY of God our Father, their Father and the Sacrifice – the GREATEST Sacrifice of ALL….the Lamb of God slain for the entire world!!!!!!
OH dear Lord, God!!!! Change me…..Have Mercy….come and have YOUR way….deliver me from my ways…from the worlds ways….from the religious order of the days ways….. I give myself; I abandon myself, totally, completely, singly, to you O’ Lord God of Abraham."

There is no question in my mind or heart that I will follow the direction of my Lord and that He has taken me to a higher level in my walk with Him and in the ministry that He would call me to do for and in Him. Although in my flesh, I am tempted to feel totally incapable to accomplish what the Lord has set before me; and truthfully I am. However, I know that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me...(Phil 4:13)…..and when I cast down my flesh, bring it into submission to my Spirit, which according to the Word of God…is seated in the heavenly realm with Christ Jesus, (Eph 2:6 “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,” high above all principalities and authorities; Eph 4:10 “He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.) I find I have the ability to overcome that which tries so hard to overcome me and keep from my God ordained purpose in life.
I am continuing, as Paul says in his letter to the Corinthians, to die daily. (1 Corinthians 15:31)  Truthfully learning what Paul meant when he wrote in Galatians 2:20 ~ “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” It is a life long lesson as Paul again points out in his letter to the Philippians. (Phil 3:13, 14 ~“Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”)
It is truly both an honor and a blessing to learn these things in this first life; also a great responsibility and much of the time persecution accompanies these revelations and more often than not as seen through out Biblical history, a life of human loneliness accompanies those that embrace this honorable call. However, God has never left a human lonely heart go without replenishment. There is great reward for those who give up, sacrifice and walk away from the pleasures of this world, family, friends, and or any privileges that other family members of the body of Christ may enjoy at the hand of God.
Although, I am not looking at such rewards….I am only looking at the face, the beautiful face of my Lord.
In this alone do I find peace and strength.

I love you!!! Amy Colleen

I'M A MAC!.... I'M A PC!

Hello,

I come to you tonight in brief from my daughters computer. I feel out of sorts. Altogether out of sorts writing on it.  Having no choice however, as my computer has died and gone to computer heaven. If I want to write I must use what ever I can get my hands on. Today it is my daughters Mac Book Pro.

I used to have a personal PC. Let me tell ya, they are completely different! You wouldn't think there would be that big of a difference. They are both lap top computers They both have the same qwerty key board, but let me just tell you (if you aren't one who already knows) they are quite different to work on!

For starters, it took me over 15 minutes just to get a new page. In face I wasn't even the one who ended up producing it. My daughter had to end up showing me how to get a new page. Then I struggled with my ear squished against the speaker  to hear a song on youtube because I couldn't figure out how to turn the sound up, there isn't a "right click" so forget the spell check!...and you know how on a PC the "delete" button deletes the word following the curser? Well on a MAC it deletes the word behind the cursor......Talk about confusing! And the list goes on! I am totally discombobulated! You would think I had never used a computer before tonight, in fact I am on one every day - all day!

Arrrrrrg!

My point behind all this is simply to point out what I am sure we are all very much aware of anyway. When we get used to the way things are; and comfortable with things in our life and suddenly they change, not by choice, we don't like it! We can feel discombobulated. So much so that we may even withdraw from the life and activities we once used to partake in.

Change is GOOD!

NOT BAD!

We need to remember the Lord is the ONLY constant that will and should remain for ever unchanging in our lives.

The moment we get stagnant....comfortable.....habitual.......we run a very serious risk of falling into the sin of back-slidding....falling away/abandoning our first love.

Many don't think of this as a serious sin....abandoning your first love for the Lord. The Word of God, however speaks differently about this and Jesus himself speaks directly to this in the Book of Revelation to the Church of Ephesus also in Matthew chapter 7 Jesus talks about those that will follow him, in this life. They will prophesy, drive out demon and preform many miracles in his name yet in the end. [Matt. 7:23] Jesus himself will say to them, "Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you'. Away from me. Evildoers!" .

There are so many more scriptures, far too numerous to list, that point to the Lord's desire for us....and for us to desire Him.

What has really saddened me lately is the preoccupation of so many in the church lately - the preoccupation of "the last days"
I truly believe it is the enemy, and quite successfully  I might add, using God's agenda to distract God's people from  spending quality time with God. From spending time in the presence of the most High.

The dividing line is being drawn not only between believers and non believers.....but also in the church. This is NOT good and NOT of God. If we sincerely believe that the second coming of the Lord is soon we should be spending MORE TIME IN THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD ON OUR OWN AND TOGETHER.

We should be REACHING OUT TO A LOST AND DIEING WORLD....not stocking up for the aftermath of armagedon. The ONE thing that will see us through any tribulation; THE ONLY THING that will see us through, is a MAGNIFICENT, PERSONAL, PASSIONATE, INTIMATE, REAL, RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS!

I realize that is quite a stretch for many of us....most probably would make most feel a tad discombobulated....that's okay......Believe me....it will be worth it!

Hey...just want you all to know I love you! Truly I do!

please excuse my spelling errors....like I said...no spell check and I am horrible at spelling.  :>/
