Prophetic Soaking Music

So You think you KNOW God?

"You, God, are my God,
   earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
   where there is no water.
I have seen you in the sanctuary
and beheld your power and your glory.
Because your love is better than life,
   my lips will glorify you.
I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands.
 I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods;
with singing lips my mouth will praise you."
Psalm 63

Take me up oh Lord! Take me up!
To our place where you and I meet. Where you share with me the mysteries of your Word. Here I sit, Oh Lord. Here I sit and wait on you. I am still...and quiet...waiting on you...to speak.
Speak, for your hand maiden is listening.

When was the last time you have just sat in the stillness of the night (or day) and waited on the Lord? In God's Holy written Word He tells us in Psalm 46:10 to,
"Be still, and know that I am God...."

Do you know God?

This verse has been so heavy upon my heart!! I would like to share wit you and welcome  your input!!!

First...

I would like to make note of the words still and know.

First the word still comes from the Hebrew word for abated ~ Raphah (raw-faw') which means to sink down, drop relax or withdraw.

Next is the word know which comes from the Hebrew word ~ acknowledge ~ Yada' (yaw-dah') Which means, "to know, learn to know" and to know by experience." (personally)

So, this is my wonder, how can we say we know God if we never take time to sit and be still in His presence?

We can read about Him

We can pray to Him.

We can even worship Him.

But that doesn't necessarily mean we know Him

That just means we know ABOUT Him.

Where is YOUR quiet place with the Lord?

Do you have one?

Any ol' place will do.....the Lord is just waiting for you.

One Body with Many Parts

The Enemy surely knows his time is running short!
I have noticed more and more divisions are creeping in between the brethren.
I thought this a perfect time to re-post this! it is time I re-post this.

My Pastor had a vision he shared with me. Turns out it is very similar to a vision I have had in my heart as well. To see the Body of Messiah in the greater region of where we live come together as ONE Body, international fellowship, without walls.

Glorious! Simply Glorious!
Truly what the Lord has intended since the beginning!

I thought I would share a poem I wrote about the Body of Messiah.
I hope you enjoy and are blessed by it!

Shalom!

1 Corinthians 12:12-14 (New Living Translation)

"12The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Messiah. 13 Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit."

God’s Masterpiece

I like you because together we are ~ who I am meant to be
Each one of us together ~ not separately
Becomes God’s Masterpiece of Art
 When we stand as one
The Body of Messiah
 God’s Own Son

I like you because you are meek and mild
And you because you are tender as a child
I like you because you are bold and courageous
And you because your faith is contagious
I like you because you never give up, never let go
And you because of the mercy you show
I like you because you are a true peace maker
And you because you are a giver not a taker
I like you for your engineering mind
And you for your ability to get things done on time
I like you for the way you love others
And you for the way you look out for your brothers
I like you for the justice you show
And you for all of the times you just “let it go”
I like you because you always find time for the Lord
And you because you’re always so busy serving others you never get bored
I like you because of the joy you have exploding inside
And you because your heart is so tender you always cry
I like you because of your sense of humor, so rare
And you, I like you because of how deeply you care
I like you because of your quiet gentle spirit
And you because whenever God speaks you always hear it
I like you because of your love for the poor
And you for always wanting to give more
I like you for the way you respect God’s word
And you for putting into practice what you’ve heard
I like you because you preach the good news over seas
And you because you stayed here to minister to people like me
I like you because of the way you share you faith
And you because of the way you trust God day to day
I like each and every one of you ~ so special you are to me
Because when I look inside of you, Yeshua is what I see
So I like you because of everything that you are that I am not
And all that I am in Messiah through you and with you because ~

Together ~ not separately we are
God’s Masterpiece of Art
When we stand as one
The Body of Messiah
 God’s Own Son

Sanctity of Life Week

Thank You Daddy

Thank you Daddy for letting me live, for letting me learn to smile and give.  Thank you Daddy for not taking from me; The chance for life and liberty. I know it was hard, but Daddy you’ll see, that when I grow up you’ll be proud of me;  ‘Cause I’ll be like you and Mommy too.  I’ve got the spirit of life to see me through.

I used to hear Mommy and feel her tears. She would cry so hard and tremble with fear; as you would speak of “what was best”.  Defending your life; defending my death.  I tried so hard.  My mouth opened wide.  But there was no sound as I cried and cried. ”Mommy!…Daddy!…Pleasssse listen to me.  I’m alive and living!  Don’t kill me!”
I didn’t give up because you couldn’t hear me.  Instead I asked God to make you see; that my life was precious in His sight.  That if I were born things would be alright.

Then in sudden sweet surprise, I felt a spirit of peace arise.  I could hear Mommy’s voice.  She was talking to me.  Laughing and crying, joyously.  “My baby! My baby!”  I heard her say. “Your Daddy says that you can stay!”

Oh thank you Daddy for letting me live. For letting me learn to smile and give.  Thank you Daddy for giving to me, my chance for life and liberty!

I just couldn't *S h A k E* it!

I woke up in the middle of the night (3 am) with this on my mind and can't shake it:

"If you're gonna grow - you need to let go!"

So I have been praying about it since.
This can be applied both to our individual lives and to our leadership lives in the church ( and other places)
There are a few single words that come to mind when I meditate on this phrase).
Trust, Faith, Patience, Rest, Burden, Release, Fear, Control, Glutton

Bottom line.....are we hindering the work of the Lord by not Delegating?
Are we keeping blessings from others by not letting them in on the ministry work?

Wow....I really don't want to go back to my secular job today....the Lord is speaking so clearly to me this morning....I want to keep going.

Shalom
