I'm sorry but this makes my sick - I actually cried....

These look like videos.
However they are not.
These are just screen shots from what was supposed to be a "feel good" video.
A video comprised of many different videos clips of folks all around the globe
 helping other folks out.

What got to me was the very first clip. Here below.
A very elderly man crossing the street with a cane trip on the curb and falls down.

Here on this second clip you see TWO woman who were walking across the street just seconds behind the the elderly man.  (unrelated to him)
One of the woman RUSHES TO him.
The OTHER WOMAN literally rushes AWAY from him.
As you can see in the picture below.



This video was captured by a motorcyclist, as you can tell on the last clip here, who also stopped to help the elderly gentleman up . 

WHAT - has gotten into people? Is there absolutely NO compassion left?

Seriously. I can not fathom that this woman saw this man fall flat on his face and walked right over him and then ran as fast as she could away, rather than give him her hand to get up.

This is NOT the first time this has ever happened anywhere in the world. It won't be the last, I am sure,  even Yeshua talked about it in the Brit Chadashah/New Testimant (parable of the Good Samaritan).

Still....I find it incredibly disturbing....and ever so heart breaking.

May G-d have mercy on us all.

Spiritual Sparkle

Though a captivating and dangerous tool of the enemy, it is nothing new. We have always been captivated by the glamorous, motivated by the supernatural and drawn to the charismatic. Believer and non believer alike.   

<sup>This can be quite problematic and detrimental to our spiritual growth.

Psalm 46:10 tells us to, "</sup>Be still, and know that I am God;"
And in
Isaiah 57:15 we are told, ....the High and Lofty One -Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:
“ dwells in the high and holy place,
and with him who has a contrite and humble spirit,"

These are just two scriptures, that happen to be two of my favorite ones, telling us to be quiet with G-d....IN his presence....and receive the blessing of His company and the benefits of His presence by simply giving of ourselves to our creator our most precious treasure - our time - our breath - our life.

I think about  the story of Elijah being Taken Up to Heaven

I would venture a good guess if asked, "How was Elijah taken up to Heaven?" that most of us would say that he was taken up by a chariot of fire.

That is awesome! I mean, seriously. Don't you agree?

However, that would NOT be the correct answer.  Below I have printed a potion of 2 Kings ch 2 (all of the chapter can be read by clicking on hyper link here or above on title)

You will note that Elijah says to Elisha, ...."if you see me when I am taken from you...." then it happened (the "spiritual sparkle" ...my phrase the Lord gave me) the chariot of fire appeared with horses (the distraction) --- and Elijah went up by a whirlwind.

Elijah went up in a whirlwind NOT a chariot of fire.

And Elisha saw it, 

¹⁰ So he said, “You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so.” ¹¹ Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
¹² And Elisha saw it"
WOW - Elisha SAW t - that is so awesome! --- who knows I probably would have missed it!!!

It would have been very easy for Elisha to have gotten distracted by the "glorious commotion" spiritual sparkle, if you will... of the chariot of fire and miss seeing Elijah go up. Which is exactly what Elijah told Elisha  he must do to receive his double anointing. But instead Elisha kept his eyes fixed on Elijah and he saw Elijah "go up" and he also saw Elijah's cloak fall down and was able to retrieve it.

This scripture has really spoken to me. Makes me realize yet again that it is a MUST to keep me eyes on HIM, the author and finisher of my faith. Not to get distracted by the "Spiritual Sparkle": that is out there. The fancy, loud prayers. Big organizations. The self proclaimed G-d good doers of the Gospel of Messiah.  It is  absolutely most important to please "I Am" ...first and always. 
In order to accomplish this I must come to know His will for me....every day.
In order to know His will for me every day, I must spend time every day, quietly in His presence...completely abandoned and ready. Hineni.

It is then that He, Messiah Yeshua, will dress me in the finest of bridal attire including my very own custom "Sparkling Jewels" nothing less than that which is befitting the bride of a King.

Lord, call to me....I am here.....Hineni.
I love you.

Something Good for a Change

I decided with all of the sad, bad, and otherwise ungdly news in the world today.

We’ve just gotten word that ISIS terrorists inside his prison ward in Iran are threatening to murder Pastor Saeed because he is a Christian. 

This is the same group who are slaughtering Christians and other religious minorities in Syria and Iraq. Saeed is an American citizen who has been imprisoned for nearly two years and cannot trust the guards or other prisoners. 

God alone can protect him.
