Love is for...(a repost)

….The One Who Is Wisest
Inspired by and dedicated to my sons Joshua, Jeremy & Jacob

In the midst of devastation is the birth of new creation
As we learn to love as though no hurt existed in our life

The greater the pain and repair  the greater the passion and love we have to share
As we learn to love as though no hurt existed in our life

It is hard to forget when we forgive  but we must let go of our past to really live
As we learn to love as though no hurt existed in our life

Hand in hand, one step at a time  our hearts will unwind
As we learn to love as though no hurt existed in our life

It may take close to forever  but don’t ever say never
As we learn to love as though no hurt existed in our life

For life is full of surprises  for the one who is wisest - and
Learns to love as though no hurt existed in their life

Signs of the times.

This is a teacher I really like and respect.
Dr. and *Rabbi Baruch Korman

This is part one of his teaching on Genesis chapter 7 about
Noah and God.

It's not your typical 2 by 2 teaching and it's 53 minutes long.
I believe it is worth every minute of your time if you choose to listen.
If you do - please listen to the end.

Shalom

*Baruch Korman, a.k.a. Rabbi Baruch, is a PhD. in Greek and in the Septuagint. A Believer, he lives in Israel, speaks Hebrew fluently, and has teaching videos in English and in Hebrew. He teaches both topically and exegetically.

As I was sitting with the Lord this morning - He spoke this to me......

So I thought I would share it with all of you.
It was way to good to keep to myself!

These three things -
On the wheel of life
Will continue to cycle around until
You stand before me on judgment day.

Forgiveness
Bitterness
Love

They will continue to cycle around regardless of whether or not,
 those YOU forgive,
 forget transgressions of,
 and love;
reciprocate or not.

That is why -

You MUST forgive
You MUST forget
You MUST love

Just as I have
No matter what the cost

When we give account on judgement day,
for everything that has come our way,
It is not what  "other's have done or not done"
that we will be held accountable for
But rather, everything we have and have not done.

Are you sure?

We are all given much and little

We are all left to do with as we please.

Then for each of us the time will come

When with our eyes we will see.

He who gave us much and little

He who bestowed free will to do as we please.

No one gets a free ride on this one.

Will YOU be ready - for what you see?

We will all stand before Him.

It's just you.
It's just me.

There's no politics.
There's no religion.

Just our creator and the those He loves with His life.

However, I will say this much...There is one thing we absolutely must get right.

If we wish to live in peace with Messiah in the life after this one right now...we MUST.....absolutely  (no exceptions) get to know - personally our Messiah...our Lord....Yeshua/Jesus.....NOW!
 *Matthew 7:23*

"For your love is more delightful than wine."

If you do. This is good.
Now I ask once again.
Are you sure - about the big and small things?
Are you certain you made the right choice in the end?

Have you cast away all malice?
Forgiven with no regrets?
Loved like there's no tomorrow?
And no boundaries set?

Have you made the Master your Mentor?
Replaced fear with perfect love?
Stopped listening to the lies of the world?
And started "dwelling in the heavens above"?

If you have, then you I invite - No! I challenge you!
Be who Elohim has created you to be!
Through His Son Yehshua!
Ask your creator to open your eyes to see.

Freedom awaits those who take that first step.
Faith  like a mustard seed.
For we are all given much and little.
For peace and security, little is all you need.

Come, today is the day of life for you.
Tomorrow is no guarantee.
I ask you one more time, " Are you sure? Do you know?"
When you die, who and what  you will see?

Love - Forgiveness - The Measure of Love - WHY are you asking ME???

I had someone ask me for some advice.
I mean, I guess it was more like they asked me for some Godly wisdom on a life situation.
Being that I am not God, I did not have it to give and immediately had to re-categorize the request as advice.  Which, by the way, I do not like to give at all, like ever, unless I give my major *see note "Jim Driscoll disclosure" and even then I don't like to but will if absolutely necessary and then only after praying about it and after being prodded and begged.

*note Jim Driscoll is my pops. He has since left this world and gone home to be with my Mum and the Lord and good number of other lucky, wonderful ol' souls in heaven. I learned by example (mostly) not to just dole out advice to whom ever - when ever.  Even I am asked for it. My parents were the two most un-intrusive parent's and in-laws any one could ever have. I truly do miss them! They were very wise.

So back to the "advice".
Yeah, normally it would not  be that big of a deal. I wouldn't actually take  note of it, remember it, after the fact. This time it was different. Much different. I suppose it was the subject matter. That and the question that was asked.  It was as if they were asking the very question that I had asked God myself about my own life. About the very life issue I was going through at this very same time. Like they were in my head and in my heart.

I know they were being real. I hadn't shared with anyone what I was feeling or thinking. No one. No one but the Lord.
These are the questions. (as close to verbatim as I can get)

"What does one do in this circumstance?"

"How do I deal with this as a believer?"

"What is God expecting of me?"

"Why is this happening to me?.....I don't understand. Is God angry with me?"

    and this one

"I keep praying and praying. Nothing is happening."

Seriously -these are  so much the questions I have been asking in my alone time with the Lord.
Day in and day out. For months and months and months. Followed by tearful, prayers of intercession. Hours of prayers  for  reconciliation.

Then something happened. One day I just got so tired.
Between being beaten down in body by sickness and disease and facing the enemy in the faces of my own beloved sons. I just gave up.

Questions still unanswered.  Yet -  still inside of me.  I just filed them away. In order to handle the pain.   In order to go on living and take care of those God has given me charge over. I suppose I learned to subsequently accept the un-authorized, illegal flaming arrows the enemy shot into my heart, while continuing on with my daily routine. I had no choice. I was dying from the inside out.

Then, out of nowhere. While I was doing what God had asked of me. Ministering to the broken hearted.
I was forced to answer the very questions I had buried so deep down inside my own soul.
As I spoke the answers out to someone else I received the answers myself.
I actually took one more step closer in the healing process.

"What does one do in this circumstance?"

No matter what the circumstance. If the Lord is your God love and forgive. Both are verbs. Hold no grudges under every circumstance. Do not expect anything from anyone as stipulation to forgive. BE forgiveness. BE love. BE light. BE hope. BE Yeshua in the Flesh. Be ye perfect as the Father in Heaven is perfect. Always know that you are not alone. The Holy Spirit of God is IN you.

"How do I deal with this as a believer?"
Live like your Master, Yeshua. A life of Grace. Full of love and Mercy. Truth and humility.

"What is God expecting of me?"
To love HIM excellently. To love your neighbor (everyone) as yourself.

"Why is this happening to me?.....I don't understand. Is God angry with me?"
Do not focus on why. Seek truth. (Yeshua) be free. No God is not angry with you.

and this one

"I keep praying and praying. Nothing is happening."
Do not listen to the voice of doubt. Live by faith. In the Word of God. The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective. When we pray according to the will of the Father IT IS DONE! It IS HIS WILL to have total reconciliation.

Also  I thought I would post this. A quote from Mother Teresa. So very true.

People are often unreasonable and self-centeredForgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motivesBe kind anyway.

If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway.

The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.”

So Here I am

Okay so wow,         I am writing this blog post for total selfish reasons.        Yeah.

Basically, I don’t expect anyone to really read it and if they do I would be utterly shocked if they took anything away from it. None the less, I find I am compelled to type away. So type I will.

You see, I am in a place in life I never expected to be. A place I would never expect anyone to have to be. Heck, I don’t know in all my years if I have ever known anyone personally who has been in my shoes. I do remember years ago during one of my Women of Destiny meetings, a woman giving a testimony asking for prayer because she was in a “similar” situation in her life. However, as I recall even her situation was nothing like what I am faced with today. It is simply unbelievable.

So, here I am.

I am child of the King. I have been wash in the Blood of the Lamb. Cleansed and made new. I have never been so in love with my Creator walked so close to the Shepherd had such revelation of the reality of the Eternal realm Life with God here and in the New Heaven to come and yet my precious loved ones are so far away. Not just geographically, but somehow the enemy has been able to seduce them and in such a way that they believe they are walking in the truth. All the while they are actively seeking to bring division and complete separation to their family - all in the name of God and his righteousness.  I am still in complete shock. How why after a life time of memories would could you divorce your mother and sisters?  We’re not talking abuse or neglect or never being around. It’s like having a major limb suddenly sawed off of your body with no anesthesia, the reason given, “Because someone else is more deserving of the arms and legs than you.”  This is not okay. This is straight forward deception from the enemy and that is why it is so heart wrenching and mind boggling.

So after the initial shock hit me and my family (outta nowhere like an earthquake in the middle of the night) and I was able to pull myself together enough to sit still in the Lord’s presence, Holy Spirit reminded me of some dreams He had given me that I wrote down in my journals. (*you know it is amazing how the Lord will speak to you years before something BIG will happen in your life you may wonder “what in the world does this dream mean?” just be patient, if it is from the Lord, it will come to pass) I read my old journals and low and behold the Lord had given me several dreams warning me about all three of my sons and their father’s behavior, long before this ever took place.  The really awesome part about this is that the Lord also gave me scriptures and promises that He (the Lord) was going to bring the Spirit of Truth into their lives. I only needed to be willing to believe to pray and to love.

Of course, that sounds allot easier than it really is.  I already have had one intervention from the Lord in the middle of the night, thankfully.

I had a dream, which I am not going to share in detail; however, I will say this. It was so perfect and straight to the point that when I woke up I was able to leave my sons at the feet of Jesus. This time without taking them back and I have peace knowing He (Jesus) is working in them. The Lord has heard my prayers. Every last one of them I have prayed. Oh, and believe you, me I pray at least 4-5 times each and every day for the healing and deliverance and restoration of this family. Everyone in this family - all 10 of us and the grandkids as well!

I am living in a world most would not understand. In fact, I don’t know that I could even find the words to describe the world I live in. I am many things in this life here on earth - I am a Handmaiden of the Most High God, a wife, a mother, a grand-mother, a prayer warrior, a friend, so much more. My life has been very full and at the same time very empty. Still I know I need to empty myself even more and fill myself even more.

I can’t explain the pain I feel. Having my sons the boys I love and have raised and known for their entire life, tell me they don’t want to be my sons anymore. Or, explain how it hurts me to know that my sons have been so deceived that they would shun their sisters. Toss them to the way side. To see my precious girls and the pain they feel in the betrayal  they are faced with as their brothers choose to sever their lives with them and in the “name of God and righteousness”.  This is surely an emotion that the human language has yet to put any such words to.

Yet, in the midst of this tornado of dissolution I have found peace.

Or has it found me?

I know in whom I believe and He has kept me in perfect peace. I am able to cover my precious loved ones in the Blood of the Lamb each day. I am able to pray for them for the revelation of truth - for forgiveness and deliverance of generational curses. I would never be able to do this on my own. Frankly I am amazed myself, once again at the wonderful grace of God in my life! I pray for the love, grace, forgiveness, mercy and compassion to flow over into each one of my precious family members lives. May the healing power over come them May Holy Spirit take control and the promise of God to turn all things around for the good of those that love Him and are the called according to HIS purpose be made manifest in all our lives!

Lord have your way in our lives!

You ARE the God of reconciliation!

Come - live through me Amy Colleen

I Want a Divorce

Wow. Pretty much the last 4 words you ever want to hear and definately the last 4 words you would ever expect to hear from your own child.
I gotta say, these are some seriously troublesome times we are living in that is for sure! No doubt in my mind!
All of my self pitty aside, and believe me I  have had plenty tonight, this is messed up!  But I will be the first to say,
"These are the signs of the times."
Kids "Divorcing" their parents - AS GROWN ADULTS.  With no apparent reason. The parent having done nothing to deserve this action, at all.
An obvious case of total deception.
Heart breaking and pitiful. To put it lightly. Shameful and totally  UN-Christ like to boot.  Definately leaves me with  even more of an  active understanding of Job and his life of trials and tribulations that is certain.
We are in a season of cleansing for the saints of God.  Season of divine obedience and sole devotion to YESHUA alone.
A season of  "Joyful Jobs"
Not necessarily a pleasant season to live through but a necessary one to be able to  grow into the divine  creation  that we have been called to - the likeness of Yeshua.
And what a feat  that is -
A lot easier said than accomplished.
BUT what is impossible with man IS POSSIBLE WITH GOD. Thankfully.
Oh dear Lord, help me.
For I am weak and my heart does not wish to beat any more. Such pain fills my lungs that there is no longer any room for the air that I need to breath.
Be the breath I breath -   be the I  life I need IN me  to keep my heart beating - lead and guide me every step through this journey called life...which has temporarily disguised itself as the saddest drama ever told .Do ALL thus....all for your glory.
I love you AND I thank you in the midst of ALL of this tribulation.
Your beloved hand maiden - AmyColleem
Oh, and p.s. - Please, bring my sons home..lead their hearts back to the truth. May they see you face to face and 'know" you again and the power of your love, forgiveness and grace. Give them  once again heats of flesh instead of stone that.they would be.moved to compassion.....on you. Amen

Forgivness

Forgiveness - it's a wonderful thing.

I just can't stress that enough. I know I have written about this several times already. Still, another day has come and gone and I have fallen victim once again to an unexpected tornado like, whirl wind, blast of emotion from someone on my way to slumber land. Stripping me of any peace and joy I had ascertained just previously during my evening relaxation time. Thus the post. Something that can only be explained by the ugly side effects of un-forgiveness that lingers and hides inside a persons deeply wounded heart.

About tonight, I know this person was upset about something that actually happened to me. The un-forgiveness  in their heart is for pain that was inflicted upon me. I  was wronged. I was hurt because of it and this person is still very upset about it. I have since then forgiven those that have wronged me. Those that have wronged me, have still not made it right and this person is very angry and un-forgiving towards them. One might say ---out of love for me.

But is it - love - ?

I understand the pain. I understand the disappointment. Believe me, when I say I do. I can honestly say, what happened between us was the worst pain I have EVER felt in my life.
But as I read the Holy Scripture - The Bible - the Word of God - it is Very clear.
I must forgive.
or I will not be forgiven by my Father in heaven.

No it's not easy. But as I start by willing to forgive. Seeking the help of Holy Spirit to continue to live out the forgiveness day to day.

It happens.

I forgive. and. I end up loving . Again.

Bitterness leaves me. I am free.

I believe, also, in doing this, that those I have forgiven are free as well. Free to heal on their side. (there are always two sides to every story). Free to forgive. Free to love again.

Then maybe - one day - with the blessing and grace of God - we will both have what the Lord has intended for us to have in first place.

Maybe, one day.

Through forgiveness.

It's a wonderful thing.

What's Wrong with this Picture?

After posting my blog about forgiveness I had a friend email me about a situation pertaining to forgiveness in her life.  She had lived through some very difficult times and some of the closest people in her life; co-workers and friend and family had really let her down. Now she had forgiven them. She was certain. This had been many, many years ago. However she went on to describe her life circumstances over the past years; what had transpired in her life. Where she was socially and such and then asked me this question,

"What's wrong with this picture?"
It was clear my friend was not content with where she was. Certain she had forgiven all those who had wronged her. She had gone over, in detail, every offence and laid it at the cross. Again my precious, dear friend wondered and asked me,
"What is wrong with this picture?"

This was my answer.
I thought it was worth posting on here.

Dear Friend,
I honestly can say, I don't know that there is anything "wrong" with the picture itself. I have found in life that when I see the same picture over and over again and it seems to be upside down or sideways or something like that. Generally it is  the view from which I am looking at it. The picture ITSELF is just fine.  It's just the view from which I am looking at it that needs to change.

Now - this is where YOU and your time with the Lord really plays an intimate role. Only HE can show you which way to turn the frame so the picture looks better. :) Or if you need to stand father away from the picture or sit down and look at it or what ever.

You very well may have "forgiven" all of these people in your life.
Willed-to forgive them.
However, forgiveness is a VERB
So as much as we may desire to forgive someone - this is only half of the process.
It is, I believe, and scripture supported, the hardest and most important part.
The next step is a partnership with the Lord and us. It's where the healing takes place. Not so much hard as it is or can be, painful.  (personally, I think this is why so many don't get beyond this point; because it is so painful. they are not willing to go through the pain)

You would know better than anyone Friend, where you are in the process of all this, with all those that have hurt you. When you have been through so much with so few to support you you learn to stand strong and become less than emotion. I know, I have done this myself. It is a survival mode.

It is possible though Friend, to forgive the worst of offences. In some situations learn to love those that have hurt and betrayed you and even forget offences that most in this world would kill over.

I have done so. Only with hand of God in my life.

Friend, I have had so many ask me, "How? How have you gotten what you have with the Lord?"
All I can say is, "Sacrifice and suffering."

Friend, you can take all you have lived through and focus on it for the rest of your life
or
forget it...leave it at the feet of Jesus....and move on.

I love you sister.

"Doing Without" a Heart. NOT okay

So You Think You're Okay?

Think Again. Forgiveness - It's a funny thing -It creeps up on you when you least expect it. Un-forgiveness really. You're going along in life just fine then. Wham - outta know where it hits ya  like a heart attack

Sometimes we can get wounded, hurt, deep down inside - and it never really "heals". At least not the way it should. Tissue begins to form over the injury, like scar tissue - pretty soon we don't see the wound, or really even feel it much. We grow accustom to the scar tissue that covers the area where the injury took place. We may even have gotten used to the limited mobility that has stemmed from the over growth of tissue where the injury was.

It has become a part of us. Our relationship with the person that hurt us becomes strained.
We pretty much have buried the hurt so far deep down inside, we have forgotten the magnitude of it's origination. Oh we remember when it happened - IF someone brings it up. But we may "play it off" that we have "dealt" with it and "forgiven" those we hold responsible for the hurt. But we know, deep down inside; there's something still there. Something that is only noticeable to us, God and those closest to us.

It would be one thing if it was just an emotional scar that was invisible. Truth is it is keeping us from excelling in the "more excellent things". We know this too. Something else we are unwilling to admit and we are willing to do with out. In fact "we have convinced ourselves" that we are in fact - not doing with out, at all.
We go on striving to create lives that seem fulfilled and God centered.  While in the back of our minds and hearts we can feel the pressure, be it all so slight, of that scar tissue, tugging, pushing on our heart and spirit. It’s as if there is a constant  cloud following hanging over our head.

Truth be told. We are actually doing "with out". We are sacrificing the "more excellent things" in life that God our Heavenly Father has designed and desired for us to have. We may not readily amit it - but we know it's true.
Honestly, we don't like that we are.
What we want is God's perfect will for our lives.

So how do we get there?
 From where we are now?
Well, for starters we need to face the fact that we have been injured - and - that we need to be healed - completely healed.

You see God, Our Heavenly Father, did not send His Son to die for us so we could just "muddle through" painful times and have our wounds heal over with patch work stitches and numbing scar tissue - that would simply allow us to "carry on our lives" and only "face those who hurt us" when absolutely necessary.

No, Our Heavenly Father sent His Only Begotten Son to die for us so that we might have reconciliation - to Our Father in Heaven AND TO EACH OTHER.
Sometimes, a wound needs to be opened up and cleaned out -
 before it can properly heal.

Yes, it can be painful.

But it is well worth it.

Our Heavenly Father gave His ONLY Son - He paid the ULTIMATE price to HEAL the relationship between US and HIM. It wasn't even HIS fault we were separated.

Won't YOU give THAT person in your life a chance?
The way God gave YOU a chance?

Freely forgive - as you have been forgiven.

Set someone free today and -

Receive healing - be complete.
