Signs of the times.

This is a teacher I really like and respect.
Dr. and *Rabbi Baruch Korman

This is part one of his teaching on Genesis chapter 7 about
Noah and God.

It's not your typical 2 by 2 teaching and it's 53 minutes long.
I believe it is worth every minute of your time if you choose to listen.
If you do - please listen to the end.

Shalom

*Baruch Korman, a.k.a. Rabbi Baruch, is a PhD. in Greek and in the Septuagint. A Believer, he lives in Israel, speaks Hebrew fluently, and has teaching videos in English and in Hebrew. He teaches both topically and exegetically.

Who Will Go?

WHO Will Go?

Who will go and find my lost sheep?
Who will go and who will seek?
Who is willing to leave the prestige?
For canyons and crevasses to return them to me?

Who of my under-shepherds will be like me?
And leave the many for the one you can’t see?
Who will tend to the ones who've run off?
Are there any of you willing to count the cost?

Many are your words in your houses built by men.
Now is the time to let them rule your hearts.
Go!

Find my lost sheep and bring them in!

"I will give you shepherds
after my own heart,
and they will feed you
with knowledge and understanding."

Jeremiah 3:15

Is Jesus A False Prophet?

Though I myself did not write this blog post - it is taken from This blog post is taken from First Fruits of Zion
A publication I subscribe to and study on a regular basis. I felt it was WELL worth re-osting!

Is Jesus A False Prophet?
Deuteronomy 13. A prophet is a spokesperson for God. Prophets are often asked to verify their authenticity with a particular sign or wonder. Deuteronomy 13 warns us that even if the would-be prophet's sign or wonder does succeed and his prediction does come to pass, he might still be a false prophet. Signs and wonders are not the final proof. If the prophet attempts to dissuade you "from the way in which the LORD your God commanded you to walk," (13:5) you are to disregard him as a false prophet. The way in which God commanded us to walk is the Torah and its commandments. Deuteronomy warns us that we must not listen to such a prophet, even if his ministry comes with amazing signs and wonders. Instead, we are to "follow the LORD...keep His commandments, listen to His voice..." (13:4)
If the would-be prophet counsels us to break any of the commandments, he must be deemed a false prophet. For example, an alleged prophet who declared that God had sanctioned an adulterous relationship can be immediately identified as a false prophet because He has contradicted Torah. God cannot contradict Himself.
Moses says that a false prophet might be allowed to perform signs and wonders in order to test Israel's fidelity to Torah. The Master warns us that "false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders." (Matthew 24:24)
Sadly, the traditional understanding and presentation of the Christian Jesus is that he was a prophet (and more than a prophet), attested by signs and wonders, but that he also cancelled the Torah. Such a person fits Deuteronomy 13's description of a false prophet perfectly. According to Deuteronomy, conversion to faith in such a person would be a violation of God's own commandments. Thus Judaism rightly rejects him. Yet the real Yeshua of the Gospels is not such. He is a prophet (and more than a prophet) attested to by signs and miracles, who called Israel to submit their lives to the highest standards of Torah.
This explains why His opponents among the Judean leadership labored so hard to find some way of demonstrating that He was a breaker of Torah. If they could prove that He was teaching against Torah, they could invalidate His claims. They were unable to do so. Nevertheless, we have consistently presented Him as a prophet teaching against the Torah. We need to rethink this. A Messiah that breaks Torah and teaches others to do so is no Messiah at all.

Something to think about for sure!

Because of HIM

Okay, so I should really be in bed right now trying to get some shut eye so I can some what function tomorrow at work. Honestly though, if I were to put this here computer down and try to go to sleep I would find myself drowning in a lake of tears. Yes, you heard me right. I said, "a lake of tears". I know I don't normally show a whole lot of emotion on here (my blog). But this is one of those few times that I feel as those if I don't release it (my overwhelming emotion) it's going to come out on it's on through my aching heart, and at this point my aching heart can't take anymore pain. It's liable to go into massive cardiac arrest.

Little dramatic, huh? Yeah, well that would be my life at the moment. Ehh, who am I kidding. That would be my life period!

This world I am living in right now is not the world I grew up in that is for sure.

Nuclear plants leaking into our oceans and atmospheres.

People filled with such anger that they feel the need to gang up on a single un-armed adult and beat them to near death with everything but the kitchen sink. These are men, woman and children and this is not even considered news worthy.

Children divorcing their parents and siblings. (I know of this first hand)

Abortion/the murder of innocent life, becoming birth control and not only every woman's right but every tax payers and employers responsibility.

And

Love - no where to be found.

In the family? Where? You raise a child to love and respect and forgive. Then, when they grow up they turn on you. Spit in your face. Where is the love? The respect? The forgiveness? There is none.
Perfection. They expect perfection. You have none. You are not perfect, no one is perfect but God. Still, they see themselves as righteous in themselves and turn there back on you.

So, love, in the church can you find it there? No. The church is busy looking for love itself. Busy, busy, busy. Going here, going there. Never really getting any where. All the while so many in the church just needing to be loved. Needing someone to love.

How about in the world? Can you find love in the world? Perhaps. Perhaps if you wander to and fro you will find a love for a time, but noting that will truly satisfy you deep inside.

No. Not deep inside.

However, I have found it. I have found love.

The love that satisfies. I have learned through the years. Through the betrayals. The loss. The tears. I have found HIM who has pursued me I have found HIM  who has followed me and walked along side me.  I have found HIM who has kept me safe, through the fire and the storm.  I have found HIM  who has held me close when I was all alone, abandoned and confused. Yeshua is His name.

Since I have found HIM, who has been pursuing me I have never been the same.

Through all the trials. All the heart ache. All the pain and tears. I know in my heart HE will turn it around for me. So I know I can make it and in this I have peace and take JoY.
Because of HIM.

Awe - it's not THAT bad

Sometimes you just need to rest.

In this crazy fast paced world in which we live this isn't always "possible". I do realize this.

However, never the less, sometimes there may be times when those things that are seemingly not possible must somehow become not only possible but a priority in our daily lives. If for no other reason than simply to provide us with enough of what we need today, to get us through until tomorrow.

"Yeah, yeah yeah," I can hear you all now, "I've heard it all before! But I don't have the time nor can I afford to take time off to rest."

I myself have said these very things not too long ago. Honestly though - did not even God himself REST? He took an entire day off.
Genesis 2:2 ".... so on the seventh day he rested from all his work."

In fact, the Lord God felt so strongly about this rest issue, He established in His law that we should always have a day of rest at least once a week....As the Holy Scripture shoes us in Leviticus 23:3
"There are six days when you may work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, a day of sacred assembly. You are not to do any work; wherever you live, it is a Sabbath to the LORD.
(apparently God knew we would have a hard time taking time for ourselves to just rest, hmmmm?)

I am not by any means becoming legalistic here about the Sabbath. What day should we hold as Holy and what we can and can not do (i.e. what is considered work).

No! Not at all. That is not my point here.
I am simply trying to convey to you the "Grace" that our Lord has conveyed to me concerning "rest" in this busy life.

I would like to get a bit transparent here to make my point.

I love Yeshua, (Jesus) with everything I have. Every fiber of my being.....All I have I have given to Him and daily I pray that I am able to give Him more of me. That I am able to die to self more...that Holy Spirit will show me more of what needs to change in me so I can become more like Yeshua. So I can become more of a light to the world and more pleasing to my Heavenly Father...Papa God....I go sleep with Him on my mind and wake up with Him on my mind....spend all day talking to Him....reading His word when I can. I seriously...most honestly would not be able to survive without Him....my Saviour....Yeshua HaMashiach.

Yet...I live here in the world, just like you and everyone else. I have to handle and deal with the same issues - we all do.

Of course there is a great benefit to walking in the Spirit
- Gal 5:16 "I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh."

But still, I am mortal - made of flesh and need to keep this in mind.
Case and point?
I take this to mean, among other things, that I am apt to fall apart if I don't take care of myself....We all are.

Did you know that God gave us an entire wonderful ~ healthy menu in the Bible?
As well as healthy lifestyle tips?

Yep!

We hear it all the time on T.V., from the doctors, in magazines, every where, "Eat right and get plenty of REST!"

Well, I just got thoroughly checked out by my doctor. It wasn't fun, several expensive uncomfortable tests; nor were the findings stellar either. I also have a long road ahead of me to recovery. Not to mention I am miserable physically, in the mean time.

The irony to all this......I have been told by my doctors that I need to REST.

At first I was upset when I heard that from the first doctor. I figured, "Just give me some anti biotics and all will be fine!"
Then the second doctor, not knowing the first doctor had suggested I take time off, said the same thing to me.

Neither doctor knew me well enough to know how I work and don't sleep but 5-6 hours a night.

Truthfully they didn't know about my personal stress level either.
What they did know was that my body had physically broken down.
I was happy enough but my physical body just broke down.

I haven't been resting.
Now I am paying the price.

You know that the Word of God tell us in Psalm 127 that
The Lord gives His beloved Rest?

Well.....I know I rambled on and on and on tonight. Probably didn't make a whole lot of sense.

I just felt like I just needed to encourage someone to
 let-go and let God
and
Get some REST.

Oh what a little Rest Can Do!

 Happy Rest in Yeshua!

It's True You Know

EVERYONE'S Going to LIVE FOREVER
 Questions is
WHERE will your Spirit end up living for eternity?

THE CHOICE IS OURS

Will WE live eternity with loved ones in eternal peace with our creator? - OR - WILL WE LIVE in eternal TORMENT separated from everyone we know and love - in total darkness for ALL ETERNITY?

 Again
THE CHOICE IS OURS
Where do YOU wish to spend the rest of eternity when you leave this earth?
As long as we have breath in our bodies - it is not too late to choose where we spend eternity.
However
there is only ONE WAY to ETERNAL LIFE with peace and loved ones with God - our Creator.

This way being through Yeshua/Jesus
HE is the Son of God - God Himself made man
He is the Way - the Truth - the Life - No man comes to God but through Him
John 3;16-17" tells us, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."

So, come.....cast your care on the HIM for he cares for you....1 Peter 5:7

Just come as you are - and call out to Him. He will be there for you. That is WHY He came.
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

THIS LIFE we live now is fleeting - when we die our spirits will live forever. I know "I" want to live in a beautiful place with those I love - In peace - joy - and no more sorrow - with God, my creator. The way HE originally intended it to be from the beginning, BEFORE SIN MESSED things up. How 'bout you?

*Just sayin'
Shalom

A Word for the Shepherds

Ezekiel 34: 2-6

1 The word of the LORD came to me:
2 “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Woe to you shepherds of Israel who only take care of yourselves! Should not shepherds take care of the flock? 3 You eat the curds, clothe yourselves with the wool and slaughter the choice animals, but you do not take care of the flock. 4 You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured. You have not brought back the strays or searched for the lost. You have ruled them harshly and brutally. 5 So they were scattered because there was no shepherd, and when they were scattered they became food for all the wild animals. 6 My sheep wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill. They were scattered over the whole earth, and no one searched or looked for them."

Who Will Go?

Who will go and find my lost sheep?
Who will go and who will seek?
Who is willing to leave the prestige?
For canyons and crevasses to return them to me?

Who of my under-shepherds will be like me?
And leave the many for the one you can’t see?
Who will tend to the ones who’ve run off?
Are there any of you willing to count the cost?

Many are your words in your houses built by men.
Now is the time to let them rule your hearts.
Go!
Find my lost sheep and bring them in!

"What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? 13And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off.
14In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost."
Matthew 18:12-14

The Man Whose Never Been

               THE MAN WHO'S NEVER BEEN

People wonder what's come over me.
The change they can't seem to see.
Belongs to the love of my life.
The man ~ who gave his life for me.

They make statements, causing such a fuss.
They say, "This man is nothing more than dust."
They say I'm living fantasy with a man who's never been.
With a laugh they ask me, time and time again,
"How can a man give his life, and yet you say he lives within?"

***
“Father, why can't they see?  Father, what's come over me?
The beauty of your love ~ The grace that flows from your son.
  And me ~
You have chosen me ~ to be your bride to be ~
For all eternity ~ for all the world to see ~ for all the world to see.
Father, why can't they see?
Father, how very real you are to me?”

“Some day, before too long, cause them to see they're wrong.
Stir them, before it's too late.
Father, save them from their horror filled fate.
Father, why can't they see?
 Father, why won't they see?”
***

People may wonder what's come over me.
Soon, very soon all the world will see.
That this change is for real ~
That the love that I feel ~ has a purpose,
  Has a meaning,
Has a man, who is real, a man who can feel,
He gave his life ~ for me.
