Some things to ponder....

Yeshua prayed in the wilderness

Mark 1:35
"Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed."
"Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed."
Humility is never a bad thing.

We are never alone no matter how lonely we may feel.

Mistakes are merely growing pains in disguise;
and
mixed with the mortar of repentance, steps towards our ultimate spiritual goal in life,
for those who choose to see them that way.

Self pity will weigh you down faster than the burden of 10 Kings.
The joy of the Lord will renew your strength and keep you out of harms way.

There is only one kind of Faith....Faith that believes.

You either do or you don't....trust God.

God loves us.....He really does.

Revival comes through the Spirit of God.

Cherish your moments in the wilderness.

Yeshua did.

****

Yes this is a re-post. I posted this some time last year or so ago. I was actually  going through some papers of mine and found it earlier today and it spoke VOLUMES to me. Then, after a very long day at work, I found myself coming back to this piece of paper and reading these words again. They really spoke to my heart. It's where I am right now I suppose.
In the wilderness.
So I decided to re-post it.
I hope it speaks to some one else as it did me. Encourages someone else.

You know once you learn to trust that God himself has full control over your life (if you have given it to him),  then being IN the wilderness for extended periods of time aren't all that bad.
The toughest part is truly learning how to trust the Lord.
It is easy to trust the Lord for the small things in life, like a skinned knee, a cold, a new job, a spouse, a healing, wisdom, provision even trusting the Lord for these things when they become seemingly impossible tasks for us to see accomplished; THIS is something we can envision ourselves trusting the Lord for....BUT....how about....the things in life we NEVER - EVER expected to have to trust God for ?
Such as;
Family, friends, church relationships our own name sake/reputation?
(to name a few)

Are we willing to not get in the way. Let go and let God....take care of it. Give it ALL UP...TRUST the LORD has a plan...and GO WITH IT?
Just keep on serving him faithfully and not try to interfere by doing things on our own accord?
THIS - truly IS difficult.
THIS truly IS TRUST.
THIS truly does take faith to a whole new level.

Think about it.
THIS is what Yeshua did.

As he grew in years, he grew in wisdom. He realized what was up. He realized what was going to be required of him.Yeshua knew who he was. Yeshua knew he had the audience of Heavenly Father. He could if so desired, interrupt the Father's plan. For his life (Yeshua) and for our's (all of mankind). In fact there was a time recorded in Luke ch 22:42 where Yeshua is praying in the garden of Gethsemane he is recorded,    "Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done".
Quite clear at this point that Yeshua was a son of man and was fully aware of the suffering he was about to partake in.
However, Yeshua chose, his by his own will to go through with the death he died. Innocent as he was. He took our place.
Had Yeshua changed his mind...Yeshua would still be with the Father...but we would be eternally separated from them both.

Granted, the salvation of the entire world do not depend on the decisions we make. Whether or not we choose to trust the Lord in our most personal, intimate and extreme circumstances.
I would venture to say, however that someones salvation does.
For the Lord sees all....knows all...and ...".the Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." 2Peter 3:9
WE should learn a little patience. :)

Personally, it has taken me many, many years to learn what little patience I have learned. It has served me well. I have had much peace where er'r I have the patience.
The Lord is truly in control.

So if you have loved ones who you miss.
Family members who do not love/know/or serve the Lord.
Been wronged/betrayed by friends/family/church.
Don't loose heart.
The book of Job was placed in the Bible for a reason.
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
2 Timothy 3:16-18

Remember to walk the path of righteousness. Serve wholeheartedly. Love always. Do not be easily offended. Stay close to the Master. Hold firmly the Word of God - close to your heart. Consume it daily as the Bread of Life able to sustain you in times of famine.
Be still before God....KNOW HIM....for he is the Good Shepherd ....we are HIS sheep and he knows us  and we know him and hear his voice.
He makes us to lie down in green pastures: he leads us beside the still waters.
He restores our soul: he leads us in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Though we may walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil: for thou art with us; thy rod and thy staff they comfort us.
HE prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies: He anoints our head with oil; pour cup runs over.
Goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our life: and we will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
(from Psalm 23)

So let the Joy of knowing Yeshua HaMashiach/Jesus the Anointed one ~ our Lord; be your strength so you can TRUST God like you have never trusted him before and see the miracles take place that you have been believing for for sooooo long!!

Amen!!!

God Bless you!!!
Love you Allll!!!!
