The River of God

I want to live here

The river of God
flowing down from your sanctuary
where I find you on your throne.
This is where you are worshiped - day and night without ceasing.
I see this river in my dreams
I stand while the river fills the lake around me.
I am led into the river, deeper  and deeper,
until I can not stand.
Surrounded by forests of lavish greenery all around me
crystal shimmering clear water
I am suddenly at the foot of your throne
Holy fear is not adequate to describe how I feel

Peace - like heavenly rain drops fall upon my soul
Healing melts away my pain
Completely immersed in your love
All my sorrow washed away
In your arms - at rest
In the river of God

A Word from the LORD

Divine Obedience

I will move you in perfect time
I will not let you fail
If you keep hold of my hand

You may stumble - You may fall - Along this rocky path
But I will lift you right back up
Together we will not miss a step

Trust me

This is a new place I am taking you
This calls for a deeper love - a stronger faith - and a
A trust in me that will deliver DIVINE OBEDIENCE

We will make this happen together
I always keep my promises

Stay close to me
and
Keep hold of my hand

Sometimes

Sometimes

I just sit here.
I don't know how much longer I can wait.
I am just so tired. I know I need to hold on tight to your promises.

Sometimes

I just sit here - with you.

I just sit here and think about what is going on in my life.
I get so tired. I can barely feel my heart beat.

Sometimes

I just sit here in my prayer chair.

I think about all you have done for me in my lifetime.
I think about all you have promised to do in my life.

Sometimes

I sit here in my prayer chair
I get so tired.  I can barley hear my heart beat.
But you are sitting here with me.

Amazed - astounded - by all you have done for me.
For everything and everyone in my life.

I am transformed

Fearfully overwhelmed.
Exploding from the inside out with a jubilent new life and a reverent spirit of thanksgiving.
No louder than a holy whisper.

Sometimes

I just sit here......with you....
