Ours is not to question why
It is ours but to obey
Obedience is far better than sacrifice
In the dessert I walk today
I trust alone in His unfailing love
Lead by the light of His word
Eyes fixed on the prize straight ahead
Ears only on HIS voice I have heard
I see the storm brewing in my path
I must continue on my plight
For I know what my Master has told me
And I walk by faith - not by sight
Everything in me wants to turn back
To escape this dessert I'm in
Lord please help me through this
Deliver me from all sin
Ours is not to question why
It is ours but to obey
Obedience brings God's blessings
His hand of deliverance our way
