Why Haven't You Come?

"Death, where is your victory?
Death, where is your sting?”
"The sting of death is sin; and sin draws its power from the Lawbut thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah!"1 Corinthians 15:55-57

As long as there is breath in the body, it is never too late to be redeemed.
The price has been paid for our sin. The cost was great and certainly nothing we could ever have afforded ourselves to pay. Yet, God so loved us each one, that He paid the price Himself, sacrificing His one and only begotten Son to make a way for each one who would believe to have eternal life. No matter what we have done, no matter when we end up coming to Him in repentance.
As promised in the Word of God - A gift so extravagant, yet so simple it has been know to be a point of contention (at best) in the majority of nations around the world ever since our Creator stepped foot in the flesh upon this planet. As well as a gift so simple it has proven to completely confound the minds of those considered wisest among the worlds many religious and non religious scholars alike.
So then, why are YOU waiting to receive this gift of everlasting, eternal life? A life of peace?  A life where there are no more sorrows, no more tears?
Better yet, why wait until the last minute to be redeemed from sorrow and sadness when you can know such peace now?
I had the most beautiful opportunity this week to be a part in sharing this life saving message with a most precious soul. Someone so very dear to me asked me to share with and pray for a loved one who was very close to leaving this world. It is never easy to have to say good-bye to someone we love. When we know we will see them again, it does take the sting off a bit. I prayed and I shared this message of life in a way they had not heard before. They had been lied to by the enemy of their soul. They were told they could not come to Yeshua/Jesus because they had lived in the dark side too long, done too many bad things to too many people and could not be forgiven.
Well, that is wrong. I am happy to say this precious beautiful soul was set free and gave their life to Jesus 💖 and was baptized right there in their bed! Complete peace filled their heart and soul. In fact peace Emanated through the room.
They were ready to meet their creator now, where as 24 hrs before they were filled with fear.
You don't have to wait until your last days. In fact most of us don't know when our last days are.
He loves you.
Come

Something to think about

                                                             Jeremiah 29:13-14
"When you seek me, you will find me, provided you seek for me wholeheartedly;
and
I will let you find me,’ says Adonai.
"Then I will reverse your exile. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have driven you,’ says Adonai, ‘and bring you back to the place from which I exiled you."

Ever wonder why some who serve God wholeheartedly as Yeshua describes in Matthew  (*ch7 below)  still don't seem find Him?
Or perhaps they find Him but seem to still be living in exile?

Take a close look at these two verses again.
I have emphasized what the Lord has shown me is an issue for a great deal of His children and also for the people of Israel, for whom this prophecy is meant in original form.

First - in order for the promise Jeremiah speaks of to be fulfilled we must seek the LORD wholeheartedly.

Let's take a look at the definition of the word wholeheartedly;
Using Merriam-Webster

  1. : completely and sincerely devoted, determined, enthusiastic

  2. :  marked by complete earnest commitment

  3. Wow that says a lot right there.
  4. When I read this I think about when my kids were young and living at home.  Constantly running to and fro. I'll use a getting ready for school example.

  5. One of them might be looking for something in the house and they say,
  6. "Mom, we need more what-ever downstairs."
  7. My response,
  8. "I just bought some, it's in your cupboard.""
  9. There's back,
  10. "No it's not I just looked there. Can I use yours?"
  11. "No you may not. Look again. I just went to the store yesterday."
  12. They look again and find nothing. So I tell them to search for it and wah-lah! There it is.

  13. Searching takes more time.
  14.
  15. But as the Prophet Jeremiah tells us

  16. When we are committed to seeking God, determined in
  17. all sincerity, devoted enthusiastically to giving ourselves completely over to finding Him; it is then that Adonai Himself will let us find Him.

  18. The more effort we put into seeking Adonai the more assuredly He will reveal Himself to us.
So it is with this promise of God, that we must seek, we must find, we must know Him.
If we desire to be free.

Yeshua said, “I AM the Way — and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through me."
John 14:6

 “If you obey what I say, then you are really my diciples32 you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.”
John 8:30

  1.  22 On that Day, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord! Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we expel demons in your name? Didn’t we perform many miracles in your name?’ 23 Then I will tell them to their faces, ‘I never knew you!

Just Sitting Here in My Prayer Chair

So I'm sitting here in my prayer chair, windows open and a soft breeze blowing through my living room ahead of a sure afternoon shower. It's unusually quiet for this time of day. Only the sound of birds calling back and forth to each other and an occasional squirrel barking can be heard. This, a welcome change from the normal clanging and banging of the delivery trucks from the industrial park behind my house.

Yep just sitting here enjoying some very special quiet time with Holy Spirit.

I have a lot on my heart and mind. Seasons changing so fast. Well, spiritually speaking that is. It's as if I woke up one morning and BAM right before my eyes one right after another were all the dreams and promises the Lord had given me with the tag-line "for such a time as this".

So yeah, what to do when that happens?

The best thing always - is - to be still before the Almighty and KNOW HE IS GOD.
Rest in His Word.
Be quiet and let Holy Spirit do the talking.
It's called confirmation.
So that's what I am doing. So far it's rolling in.
(The confirmation. lol)

We'll see where I am next month at this time.

One thing for sure - The Lord is so AmAzInG :)

Shalom and Blessings in Yeshua

This just REALLY spoke to me this morning...so I blogged it!

 A psalm of David
23

ADONAI is my shepherd; I lack nothing.
He has me lie down in grassy pastures,
he leads me by quiet water,
he restores my inner person.

He guides me in right paths for the sake of his own name.
Even if I pass through death-dark ravines,
I will fear no disaster; for you are with me;
your rod and staff reassure me.

 You prepare a table for me,
even as my enemies watch;
 you anoint my head with oil
 from an overflowing cup.

 Goodness and grace will pursue me
 every day of my life;
 and I will live in the house of ADONAI
 for years and years to come.

Be Blessed in Yeshua our Messiah!
