My Perfect Day

My perfect day.

The more I think about it the more I realize MY perfect day consists of of the simplest of requests.

Yet at the same time it is the very simple nature of the request that I believe is the reason I may never have them all in one day...thus never have "my perfect day"....well at least not while I am here here in this life anyway.

You see, all I desire for a day to be "my perfect day" is:

1) That no one argue with me for the entire day. That no one curse at me or belittle me for the entire day. Being in the business I am in I realize this is probably highly impossible.

2) I would also like to be someone's #1 for a change. Top of the priority list. Call me, I dunno, selfish, but I would just like to be on the TOP of someones call waiting for a change. You know?  When  you are on the phone with someone and they get another call? I would like to be the one who STAYS on the phone for a change.....NOT the one who gets the ol', "I'm sorry can I call you back I gotta take this call." Just someones gotta see YOU list.

3) Peace and quiet. Guilt free. No people, no animals. Just peace and quiet all to myself.

So yes, I am sure I could think of a few other things. But these are what I can not ever seem to get any of in my life right now.

I know one day I will have all of these. All at once and I can hardly wait.

Until then I will keep looking up,

HAD to share!

This just TOUCHED my heart soooo much this morning! I started highlighting certain verses but then they ALL ended up highlighted so I just put the whole Psalm on here.

Read....BE STILL and BE BLESSED!

Psalm 37

Don’t be upset by evildoers
or envious of those who do wrong,
for soon they will wither like grass
and fade like the green in the fields.
Trust in Adonai, and do good;
settle in the land, and feed on faithfulness.
Then you will delight yourself in Adonai,
and he will give you your heart’s desire.
Commit your way to Adonai;
trust in him, and he will act.
He will make your vindication shine forth like light,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
Be still before Adonai;
wait patiently till he comes.
Don’t be upset by those whose way
succeeds because of their wicked plans.
Stop being angry, put aside rage,
and don’t be upset — it leads to evil.
For evildoers will be cut off,
but those hoping in Adonai will inherit the land.
10 Soon the wicked will be no more;
you will look for his place, and he won’t be there.
11 But the meek will inherit the land
and delight themselves in abundant peace.
12 The wicked plots against the righteous
and grinds his teeth at him;
13 but Adonai laughs at the wicked,
knowing his day will come.
14 The wicked have unsheathed their swords,
they have strung their bows
to bring down the poor and needy,
to slaughter those whose way is upright.
15 But their swords will pierce their own hearts,
and their bows will be broken.
16 Better the little that the righteous has
than the wealth of all the wicked.
17 For the arms of the wicked will be broken,
but Adonai upholds the righteous.
18 Adonai knows what the wholehearted suffer,
but their inheritance lasts forever.
19 They will not be distressed when times are hard;
when famine comes, they will have plenty.
20 For the wicked will perish;
Adonai’s enemies will be like sheep fat,
ending up as smoke, finished.
21 The wicked borrows and doesn’t repay,
but the righteous is generous and gives.
22 For those blessed by [Adonai] will inherit the land,
but those cursed by him will be cut off.
23 Adonai directs a person’s steps,
and he delights in his way.
24 He may stumble, but he won’t fall headlong,
for Adonai holds him by the hand.
25 I have been young; now I am old;
yet not once have I seen the righteous abandoned
or his descendants begging for bread.
26 All day long he is generous and lends,
and his descendants are blessed.
27 If you turn from evil and do good,
you will live safely forever.
28 For Adonai loves justice
and will not abandon his faithful;
they are preserved forever.
But the descendants of the wicked will be cut off.
29 The righteous will inherit the land
and live in it forever.
30 The mouth of the righteous articulates wisdom,
his tongue speaks justice.
31 The Torah of his God is in his heart;
his footsteps do not falter.
32 The wicked keeps his eye on the righteous,
seeking a chance to kill him.
33 But Adonai will not leave him in his power
or let him be condemned when judged.
34 Put your hope in Adonai, keep to his way,
and he will raise you up to inherit the land.
When the wicked are cut off, you will see it.
35 I have seen a wicked man wielding great power,
flourishing like a shade tree in its native soil.
36 But I passed by again, and he was no longer there;
I looked for him, but he could not be found.
37 Observe the pure person, consider the upright;
for the peaceful person will have posterity.
38 But transgressors will all be destroyed;
the posterity of the wicked will be cut off.
39 Adonai is the one who saves the righteous;
he is their stronghold in time of trouble.
40 Adonai helps them and rescues them,
rescues them from the wicked and saves them;
because they take refuge in him.

If this doesn't give you goosebumps

One day VERY soon - sooner than we think

We WILL all be singing this together!

So this week was different....yeah.

Wow.

Talk about emotions. I have been all over the charts this week.
 I guess that is to be expected when you are awaiting results to biopsies
 that could be either very good  or very bad.
Thankfully the results are GOOD  for this round!
Close as it was I am so thankful!
Still - I find myself stuck on the circus ride of emotions too tired to jump off!

Someone please stop this thing from going round and round - I want off!

This really touched my heart....

I felt compelled to post this as I could not keep from crying.

When one needs encouragement....

You can never improve on perfection!

Go to the author of it all. Well, that is if you are on the right side anyway. ;o)

Read and be encouraged...if you don't know the LORD and would like to contact me I would be happy to show you the way!

Okay, call me romantic...but it's 26 years and I'm still IN LOVE!

I wrote this for my husband 26 years ago. for our first anniversary.

The Night of the Crowds Demise
To my husband with love

I remember it as though it were today.
 The first time I looked in his eyes.
I remember the minute he walked through the door.
I remember the crowd’s demise.

I was sitting in the midst of friends.
Yet feeling all alone.
Not wanting to be where I was.
Not wanting to go home.

Music and laughter,
People prancing about.
A noise level so high,
You couldn’t hear a shout.

That’s when it happened.
He walked through the door.
Instantly he was all there was.
The crowd was no more.

The room was filled with silence.
My heart began to race.
He slowly turned his eyes my way.
Now we were face to face.

I knew within an instant.
As he gazed into my eyes,
Along with me he too would remember,
The night of the crowd’s demise.

A moment to remember,
The beginning of our love,
The night we received each other.
Our precious gift, from God above.
