No More Job's

                                     Hey there, how you doing?
I've been up since three o'clock this morning. It is now currently five thirty a.m. I have had a piece of toast and a cup of coffee and spent time in prayer and conversation with the Lord and some serious time in deep thought.

In just a few days I will be fifty years old. That's half a century old.
To be perfectly honest, I don'y desire to live a full century. I don't believe I will. At least not here anyway. I truly believe the Lord will have come back by then to establish his kingdom for the millennial reign by then, at least I hope so.

I have lived a hard life. Of course that term is relative. There are always those that have lived harder lives and many who have it much easier. Let's just say I am quite thankful for the promise of God that he turns everything around for the good of those that love him and are the called according to his good purpose! I count on that!

I have learned also to use my life circumstances to catapult me ever so  much closer to the feet of Jesus. Although, I won't lie, at times this has proven to be very difficult, but Holy Spirit has given me the strength and taken me by the hand, even times picked me up and carried me through. It seems still, after waking with the Lord for 35 years, I seem to face insurmountable trials at times I know beyond a shadow of a doubt G_d is with me. Holy Spirit guides me and Jesus is still my best friend.

I recently heard a preacher say, "Now I know we all go through hard times. Through trials. We may feel like we have been betrayed by loved ones and lost friends and everything like Job. But I don't think any of us (in the world today) are any where as righteous as Job was.......So it's not that bad.."

Well, ever since I heard that statement I haven't been able to "kick it".

You know, that is just not true.

We all are....just as righteous as Job. Those of us that are children of the most High G-D, that is! We are  made so by the Blood of the Lamb!
The scripture reference from Job 1:8 reads, Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil."

A few things to consider here:
For starters and I believe most important, we, you and I, are made righteous by the blood of Jesus, not by works. (so no one should be able to boast about it)  Ephesians 2:9

Also, although the sacrifice was in fact made for all men before time began (one of the mysteries) Job lived in a time before Jesus our Messiah had been born into this world and had laid down his life  and been crucified. The world and area where Job was from was exceedingly wicked. G-d was approached by Satan and G-d described Job to Satan  accurately in comparison to those around him.

And then, I believe any one of us can get to that level where Job was in his life. A level where G-d knows our love, trust and faithfulness; for, in and to him would not wax or wain. This being said, I believe also our adversary and accuser Satan may just as well come before our Heavenly Father on our behalf like he did on Job's. I have found no scripture  to support otherwise.

 Job's life story was divinely placed in the Holy Scripture for a reason....for US to TAKE encouragement from it. The Lord is interested in our eternal soul. In a relationship with US. That is why He came to earth and laid down His life for us.

G_d is Holy.
Jesus is Holy.
Holy Spirit is HOLY.
G_d is ONE G_d.
Just as we are one being so is He who created us. It's not that big of a mystery.
Body - soul - spirit.

So if you are experiencing some truly difficult times in your life.....and you are truly seeking the will of the Lord. Seeking the face of G-d. Don't give in to the enemy's lies that you have been forgotten by G-D or you are unworthy or don't have enough faith or anything like that.

Stay IN the Word of G-D....in the fellowship of true believers....in constant communication (prayer) with the Lord.... and stand firm!

Love to you in Yeshua HaMashiach!

You’re All There Is For Me

Foxes have their holes Lord. Birds they have their nest.
But you say you have no place to rest.
Still I’ll follow you. Where ever you may lead.
For my Lord you’re all there is for me.

Still there are times I wonder. Can I keep pressing on?
The river’s flood keeps rising;
The fire’s burning strong;
Lord how long?

“Fear not I have redeemed you.
I have called you by name.
My child, whom I have chosen,
Whom I formed and whom I’ve made.
Do not fear for I am with you.
I am the Lord Almighty God.
Because you’re mine and I love you;
You will survive against all odds;
For, I am God.”

I may not understand Lord; All you have for me.
But you say don’t worry just believe.
So I’ll follow you. Where ever you may lead.
For my Lord you’re all there is for me.

So let the river flow Lord. Let the fire burn.
You are God Almighty.
And I have your word.
You are with me.

Ephesians 6:10-18
 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
