And the Lord said....The GREAT Awakening....

This awesome ~ majestic, prophetic painting by Rik Berry, reminds me of an early morning prayer/vision I had...I thought I would share it with you here as it is rather wonderful!

I woke up with the word "soon"  "BOOMING" in my ears......a large voice type of boom.

As I progressed to my prayer room the Lord spoke to me about prodigal not yet returned and promises unfulfilled.  

From the place where I am often taken with the Lord, high in the Heavens, I had a vision of the world covered in darkness with what seemed to be lights scattered around the darkness. Then a great rushing wind came from nowhere (that I could see) and blew on the lights which seemed small and they became connected to one another and the world became ablaze. 

(It was more than amazing!!! I do not have adequate words to describe what I saw!)

The Lord then turned to me and said,

"The great awakening is soon, and then I shall mount my stallion and bring justice to all the earth."

Boot Camp - Word from the Lord

The Lord has been  taking me through a season of obedience training....I guess that would be the best way to put it. At least that is how I am feeling about it. I guess you could say it is a sort of officer's training camp. I have already been through boot camp; when I enlisted ( gave my heart to the Lord about 36 years ago) Now I have been promoted and I am being sent to officer's training. Boot camp ALL over...Officer Style!...I keep getting this... sense of Déjà vu...as if I have already been through this and then that's when the Lord let's me know thing's are just a "little different" this time around.

And they truly are...It's all about obedience...in the small and the big things.

Obedience I have learned and now am being tested on....is the TRUE measuring stick of our FAITH and TRUST in our Lord.

Yes'em...If we can learn to be "obedient" in ALL things that the Lord has set before us...in HIS WORD....great and small...(and here is the key)...and with a peace that passes understanding, not having  to work at it, being it second nature...we will glide through this life like a hot knife through cheese cake.

I wanted to share this word that the Lord shared with me...I thought it was a word that many would benefit from...I also posted the scripture from Deuteronomy 28:1-14 where the Lord speaks directly about the blessings that will come from being obedient to his law.

It is my prayer that all who look upon these words are blessed!

Obedience

In this season, obedience is everything for you. You need to heed my voice.

Listen and obey. Others may not understand ~ that’s okay ~ they may tell you otherwise ~ as what I say for you to do ~  but you must learn to obey my voice.

Do not be moved by your emotions. Obedience is far better than sacrifice.

Where I am taking you, you will need to be able to hear my voice and obey it without hesitation or wavering.

This is a season of the spirit man.

A season to see with your spirit eyes and to hear with your spirit ears ~ a season to walk in the spirit.

Remember  ~  the power of my Holy Spirit abides in you to my glory ~ the very power that rose me up from the grave and took me to my Father’s side in Heaven.

Deuteronomy 28

Blessings for Obedience

 ¹ If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. ² All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God:

 ³ You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.

 ⁴ The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.

 ⁵ Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.

 ⁶ You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.

 ⁷ The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.

 ⁸ The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.

 ⁹ The LORD will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the LORD your God and walk in obedience to him. ¹⁰ Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will fear you. ¹¹ The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you.

 ¹² The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. ¹³ The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. ¹⁴ Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them.

Deuteronomy 28:15-68 Curses for Disobedience

We're moving

Those of you who are discerning ....hear what the Lord has to say.

(I will share later what this means...now off to work!)

"I was in a house with several others. Some I recognized, some I did not.We were all of one accord. The Master of the house was with us. We were in the bedroom.

I was watching the others talk among themselves. They seemed serious and busy. Moving quickly; while at the same time, every time they walk past the Master of the house they would take a moment to stop what they were doing and just sit at his feet..just for a moment. Then they would continue on with what they were doing.

I was so curious....so I walked up to the Master of the house and asked,

"What is happening?"

This is what he said to me,

"We are moving tomorrow, we need to get ready."

I looked around again and saw that everyone around me was packing.

I looked at the Master and said,

"You mean, we need to pack everything tonight and be ready t go by morning?"

He smiled at me and said, "Yes."

I didn't speak out loud. I walked around the room in disbelief, as it was a huge bedroom. I thought in my spirit, 'How can we pack everything in one night and then travel the next day?'

Then the Master spoke again,

"Get ready tonight. There is no time to fall asleep. For tomorrow we move. Go out to the living room and show the new ones how to get ready."

At that I went into the living room and there were several visitors to the house sitting on the living room floor. There were packing boxes in front of them.

A Christmas tree fully decorated as well.

I introduced myself to them and said,

"Here let me show you what needs to be done to get ready for tomorrow."

Isaiah 40:1-5

Comfort for God’s People

 ¹ Comfort, comfort my people, 
   says your God. 
² Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, 
   and proclaim to her 
that her hard service has been completed, 
   that her sin has been paid for, 
that she has received from the LORD’s hand 
   double for all her sins.

 ³ A voice of one calling:
“In the wilderness prepare
   the way for the LORD;
make straight in the desert
   a highway for our God.
⁴ Every valley shall be raised up,
   every mountain and hill made low;
the rough ground shall become level,
   the rugged places a plain.
⁵ And the glory of the LORD will be revealed,
   and all people will see it together.
            For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”
