5 Days Alone With God and......
I want more.
Okay, it's been awhile, actually far too long, since I have had some extended alone time with the Lord. We are talking days alone, with the Lord. No one else around. No phone. No t.v. No traffic. No nuffin. Just me and best friend.
These are a couple snippets of my journal from my week away in the smokies. A time I will always cherish and never forget. My five days alone with God.

Nothing can keep me from your love

Oh How I remember those five days alone in the mountains with the lover of my soul!
Oh how I could use another five days alone with Him now!
Such beauty...just even in the quiet of the very stillness of the mountain top.
Such a Holy hush....seemed to flood the cabin like a wave of invisible down, only softer, warmer; as the fog rolled in and covered the entire mountain top. Leaving zero visability for hours in the morning only to roll away hours later to unveil the breath taking beauty of the ever greens along the mountain side. An occasional eagle, high in the air swooping down to catch a meal. A rustle in the hillside, surely a fox or some small wondrous creature scurrying about for nuts they had buried long ago.
Ahhhhh......an the voice....the strong, beautiful......quiet.....small....still....voice......of the Master.
I long for yet another day when He will call for me to come away with Him, alone yet again.
