Today the Lord began speaking to me in the middle of the wee morning hours in my sleep, (We are talking 3 a.m.) through my dreams - and continued to speak to me even as I was waking from my sleep - allowing me to hear, audibly, not once or twice but three times - an alarm sounding like an old fashioned wind up alarm clock going off followed by the words, "Time to be ready." As I lay in bed dwelling on this awesome experience. I asked Holy Spirit what He was trying to convey to me in detail, as I had been given such an incredibly detailed dream just hours before.
I heard in my spirit, "I am coming so much sooner than anyone sees. Keep your focus on me. It is time to be about the Father's business."
The wording the Lord used really stood out to me. I knew what I heard. Still I asked Him, "Lord, did you say, Sooner than we SEE?" The Lord confirmed that I had hear correctly.
I spent a good portion of my morning in prayer and in the Word over this. Seeking understanding. I was lead to a stern warning for the Teachers, Pastors, and under-shepherds over the people of G-d. Those who would call themselves "Prophet" - or "Seer" ......Many of us may be familiar with this passage, Ezekiel 13. It is a Word from G-d to the prophets that would speak out on their own - not from G-d. I won't go into that, per say, (a whole different post).
What I will bring up is one point about the "seer" or "prophet" (if you will) and what Holy Spirit was sharing with me today.......why the Lord used the words, "I am coming so much sooner than anyone sees." NOT, ..."sooner than anyone knows." ....the distinction was intentional and definitely caught my attention.
When I asked the Lord about this and spent time with Him, He revealed to me He was specifically referring to His seers - or prophets, (if you will), when He said to me, ""I am coming so much sooner than anyone sees." (and I remind the reader, I am refering to a conversation I personally had with The Lord. This is not from scripture)
Well this upset me - saddened me - quite a bit. And if you know me at all - you know, I had to ask - I had to ask the Lord, "Why? Why your prophets not able to see clearly, regarding this issue?"
That was when the Lord brought to mind the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard. I looked it up and read it from the Gospel of Matthew. These two verses 6&7 stuck out.
6 About five in the afternoon he went out and found still others standing around. He asked them, ‘Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?’
7 “‘Because no one has hired us,’ they answered.
“He said to them, ‘You also go and work in my vineyard.’
Then I immediately remembered a vision the Lord given me during a worship service some years back. (below)

Breaking Down the Walls - A Vision 2003
I was praying one early morning in the sanctuary at the church I attended. I heard the Lord's voice speak to me and say, Come follow me. Do as I do."
So in my vision I got up from where I was sitting in the sanctuary and went to where I heard the voice. It was in the foyer. I just stood in utter amazement as I watch the Lord breaking down the outside wall of the foyer. Yeshua turned around and handed me a sledge hammer and continued on. Again I heard his voice say every so clearly to me, "Come follow me. Do as I do."
The Lord continued to break down the wall of the church building until we were outside and I saw a brick side walk. I just copied what he did and followed him. We were about half way down the sidewalk that wound around to another church building (different denomination) and I just stood there and gazed at the site. All around us were fields of wheat ripe for harvest. It was sooooo beautiful! The sidewalk continued from one church building to another and all around were fields of wheat ready to be harvested.
I just stood there and gazed. I heard the Lord's voice again. This time I saw him. He was bent over kneeling down, close to the ground with a sledge hammer, breaking up the sidewalk. He turned toward me and repeated what he said earlier, "Come on now... follow me. Do as I do."
I finally got the nerve to ask Yeshua why we were doing this.
At that the Lord, turning around, stood up, smiled and said,
"My AmyColleen, far too long my church has thought it was okay to gather together in these little gathering places, with sidewalks connecting them together as though that would make them "as one" in me. My church was never meant to be closed up inside these walls."
Then the Lord pointed at the churches.
"My church is here in the fields."
He swept his arms pointing towards the harvest fields.
At which point the Lord turned back to the sidewalk and started breaking up the sidewalks again.
I knew right then what Yeshua was telling me to do.
I thought of the scripture in Luke that spoke of the harvest being plentiful and the workers being few. I knew I needed to change my prayer stradegy to work hand in glove with my life of a follower of Messiah if I was going to make any impact at all for the kingdom of God.
*In brief* - Revival doen't happen INSIDE the church!
Shalom
