Love is for...(a repost)

….The One Who Is Wisest
Inspired by and dedicated to my sons Joshua, Jeremy & Jacob

In the midst of devastation is the birth of new creation
As we learn to love as though no hurt existed in our life

The greater the pain and repair  the greater the passion and love we have to share
As we learn to love as though no hurt existed in our life

It is hard to forget when we forgive  but we must let go of our past to really live
As we learn to love as though no hurt existed in our life

Hand in hand, one step at a time  our hearts will unwind
As we learn to love as though no hurt existed in our life

It may take close to forever  but don’t ever say never
As we learn to love as though no hurt existed in our life

For life is full of surprises  for the one who is wisest - and
Learns to love as though no hurt existed in their life

Missing you.....................

♥ ♥♥♥ ♥ ♥♥
A Mother's love is for life
It endures through life's sorrows and strife
Never ceasing - always there
Mother's hearts were born to care
Loving you is what I do
Through the pain He'll see me through
Ever hopeful you'll come home
Before My time as Mother here is done

When?

When? I know I have asked before Lord.
When? Still my heart aches so.
When? Is that an acceptable question to ask?
When? I so desire to know.

When do I know it's time to tell them?
When do I know what to say?
When do I finally give up, or do I?
When do I stop believing they will come home one day.

When do I know to make a call?
When do I speak my words?
When  do I look them in the eye?
When do I know I am being heard?

When darkness hovers
When Glory surrounds
When my G-d, my deliverer arises
When I hear the trumpet sound

When? - Oh - Holy Lord?
When will justice arrive?
When will truth be known?
When will my death be made alive?

When will our prayers - your desire be fulfilled?
When will reconciliation come about?
When dear Yeshua? Soon I pray.
When can we all together give a Hallelujah shout?

Today I found...

More love...

More forgiveness...

More appreciation.....

More hope....

Than I ever knew was possible.

In the wake of a sheer satanic massacre...as I stood on the outside looking in.
As my chest grew tighter and tighter - as tear drops turned to tear streams washing over my face.
I found myself feeling sheer rage for this senseless act of evil.
While at the same time today - through it - IN it - BECAUSE of it...

Today I found -

More love...

More forgiveness...

More appreciation.....

More hope....

Than I ever knew was possible.....for my very own children.

I love you Joshua - I love you Jeremy - I love you Jacob - I love you Lauren - I love you Kelly!
With all my heart - always have and always will forever!

Up to the Son and back!

Time for a Family Reunion

Sometimes Memories Just Aren't Enough

Well
Here I am sitting in my chair

"Remembering"

Sooo many things…..my mind going soooo many places….out of order the memories flashing through my mind…… they keep coming. The more I remember, the more I remember.

I remember when Jacob and Sabrina, Jeremy and Maria all came up for the holidays.

What a HOUSE FULL!!!.........Oh but sooooo W O N D E R F U L and soooo fulfilling!!!!
Warm & Fuzzy kinda memory making stuff!!!

~then~

I remember when ~Joshua, Jeremy and Maria came up for the summer...”WOW”…

NOW - that was a funtabuloustime!!

KINGS ISLAND and the Attack of the Klapp Klan & Taylor Tribe [heehee] I actually rode the new rides!!!! YIKES!!!!

~then~

[I glance around the corner to the "picture wall" and get a glimpse of all the years by gone by}

*tear  runs down my cheek*

I remember one by one - Joshua's High School Graduation,  Jeremy’s BLUE hair!!! [What a trip!]

Oh MY!! -Then there’s D I S N E Y W O R L D …what a fun time!!!

Driving ALL the way down to Sarasota in the little Hyundai with all four of us - Dan, Me, Lauren and Kelly! And all our luggage  :O)
[My tuschy still smarts!]
Oh but I got some of the BEST family pictures ever, outta that trip!!!
Oh what fun!

~then~

I see that adorable face….that oh so goofy, but adorable, JACOB face…not just once or twice but several places on my picture wall!!! [he can’t just smile in front of a camera]..I will never forget the very short two years Jacob spent with Dan, me and his sisters, full time…The time he spent with the MAG youth group….Those were some  good times. :O)

I remember Lauren and Kelly begging to stay “with Jacob” and be a part of the “rockin’ youth group” and NOW they ARE all grown up. Kelly is leading the youth group. Youth Group!

~Wow~ then as I look over towards the coffee table.~

The first  few photos I see are of Jeremy and I at the Zoo. Joe Photographer… :O)…Just the two of us…I will always remember that day….and then a picture of Crew Tower  in downtown Cincinnati as well. ......*sigh*......We took LOTS of pictures...[he is still the official family photographer.] I will never forget that day.

~And then~

Oh my! The  5 1/2 hour ride to Indiana that  should have only taken 2 hours! haha!!
Yep, something else I'll never forget, getting lost in Indiana with Joshua, Lauren, Kelly and Dan in the pouring down rain, so hard you could barley see 10 feet in front of you We were on our way to Uncle Jim’s “surprise” 50th” Birthday party…that turned out NOT to be a surprise.
It took us 5 ½ hrs to drive what should have taken 2 hours; this could have been avoided had we known it was NOT surprise!!!!!

~then I see on the photo wall~

The “Marx Bros” Jeremy and Jacob from Brandon’s wedding….[on my photo wall]too cute!
~Ohhhhhhh I remember~

I remember…..Shabbat dinner at the Ramsey's.  when Dan and I went to Florida for Jeremy and Joshua’s Graduation. :O) …The yummy food and wonderful company and playing games…. I remember all the GAZZION frogs at their house! [eeewwwweeeeeee....yukkko!]

~Then~

I remember flying to California with Lauren and Kelly…visiting all their Aunt’s and Uncles and Grampa….walking along the beach and finding shells…packing them ever so carefully to bring them home only to forget them.

~My goodness~

There are sooo many memories in these pictures on my walls! On my tables! All over my house!

It is simply amazing!
They all bring such *joy*
To my soul when I think on them!

I have pictures for each of my five children from the time they were born through now  - riddled throughout my home like colorful wall paper .
Each photo  bringing back memories from warm, fun, loving, joyous times.

I remember holding each and every one of my five beautiful children in my arms for the very first time
Only moments after their arrival into this world.
I remember welcoming them into this world and kissing them on their cute little heads.

I remember praying for them, each one, before they ever came into this world.

Loving them, singing to them, praying for God’s divine purpose to be fulfilled in their lives.

*sigh*
Now, they are all grown up.
Families of their own - well 3 out of 5 of them so far. *sigh*

~~p a u s e ~~

Honestly
 there comes a time
 - though -
when pictures

on a wall

 just isn't enough.

*sigh* [again]

Soooo, here I sit.
Realizing that they, my children,  are all grown up.
 and

All I have left

, for the most part,

are my memories.

I have come to the conclusion that

 sometimes

 memories sometimes just aren't
enough.

~sigh~

I seriously think it's time for some more family time!

I mean seriously - It's been WAY too long!

There's grand-babies being born!

Time to  get together again

 after all

Sometimes

 Memories just aren't enough.

Life's Bridge

"Life's Bridge"

Sometimes
In life we come to a point when we have to make decisions we never thought we would have to.
When we have no choice in the matter.
You may have heard the term "coming to a cross roads".

Personally - I do not care for that term.
When ever I think of cross roads I think of possibly getting run over and flattened by a semi truck,
when I finally get the guts to cross over to the other side of the road!
Which is most probably what would happen to me in my life about now if I were standing at a crossroads -  Forced to make the decision I am faced with right about now in life!

Of course be that as it may - decision time comes regardless of whether or not we like the cute little saying that come with the seasons in our life or not.

Today
I came across this picture. (Above)
Isn't it beautiful?

It is absolutely perfect!
I could not have painted a better picture!
No, seriously - even if I could paint - *hee hee* - I couldn't have done a better job!

When I look straight into the picture and look down the bridge
It takes me to where I am RIGHT NOW - in life.

You see - I am not so much at a cross roads - but more so standing at one side of
"Life's Bridge"
Starring down toward what I know in my heart - is where my Lord has called me to go.
Yet at the same time - I am by myself.

This is a journey I must make alone.

There is no one crossing the bridge with me.
The Lord Himself
He, has already gone ahead of me and is waiting my arrival on the other side.
This is by far one of the hardest journeys I have ever made in my life time.
No sugar coating this one.
If I keep my gaze on the golden leaves that fill the tree tops on the other side of the bridge.
If I focus on the bright white glow permeating the entire lush forest on the other side of the bridge.
Remembering the promises spoken long ago - spoken - just the other day.
I am filled with hope - I am filled with courage.
I know I can do this - what the Lord is asking of me.
I know I can do all things through Him (Christ Jesus) who gives me strength.
I am moved inside my spirit man. I am deeply moved.
So much so I begin to
Step out on Life's Bridge
Take my first step - in faith - towards the other side.

Then
I remember and turned around.
I see those I love - behind me. They don't see me.
They have already left me.
In fact they won't even notice if I take this journey across Life's Bridge.
I still don't want to leave them - even though they don't acknowledge me.
Amazingly
In a matter of seconds, the peace I felt focusing on all of God's promises.
Crossing over Life's Bridge and being in His perfect will for my life
Just Vanished
Now all I feel is a crushing pain in my chest.
My eyes begin the spontaneously leak tears
Weakness overtakes not only my body but now my spirit man as well.
I crumble and fall to the ground - my face in my hands I begin to weep aloud,
"Why? Why? Why Oh Lord?"
I can not seem to reconcile that I must live without those I love.

Except for my weeping there is only silence in the air.

Then I feel the warm breeze brush across my hair.
A soft, gentle touch on my shoulder. I look up. It is Him. My Lord. He came back for me.
I'm not alone anymore.

Wiping away my tears - he takes my hand in His and together we walk across

Life's Bridge
