You’re All There Is For Me

This song was given to me during one of my prayer & worship sessions with the Holy Spirit, during some very difficult times in my life, many, many years ago.

You're All There Is For Me

Foxes have their holes Lord. Birds they have their nest.
But you say you have no place to rest.
Still I’ll follow you. Where ever you may lead.
For my Lord you’re all there is for me.
Still there are times I wonder. Can I keep pressing on?
The river’s flood keeps rising;
The fire’s burning strong;
Lord how long?
*
“Fear not I have redeemed you.
I have called you by name.
My child, whom I have chosen,
Whom I formed and whom I’ve made.
Do not fear for I am with you.
I am the LORD, ADONAI
Because you’re mine and I love you;
You will survive against all odds;
For, I AM God.”
*
I may not understand Lord; All you have for me.
But you say, "Don’t worry just believe."
So I’ll follow you Lord. Where ever you may lead.
For my Lord you’re all there is for me.
So let the river flow Lord. Let the fire burn.
You are God Almighty.
And I have your word.
You are with me.

 Matthew 8:20
Yeshua said to him, “The foxes have holes, and the birds flying about have nests, but the Son of Man has no home of his own.”
Isaiah 43:1

But now this is what Adonai says,
he who created you, Ya‘akov,
he who formed you, Isra’el:
“Don’t be afraid, for I have redeemed you;
I am calling you by your name; you are mine.

He cares for you..........

Psalm 121

1  I lift  up my eyes to the mountains-
where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

SLEEPLESS NIGHTS
 (a song)
Inspired by Psalm 121

Sleepless nights the Lord spends on you.
Watching and waiting to see what you'll do,
When times get tough to see where you'll go,
And all the time, all the time, he wants you to know.

That, sleepless nights the Lord spends on you.
He's always there to see you through.
Neither slumber nor sleep will He ever do.
Because; the Lord is watching over you.

***
When you think it's over and you've given your all.
Just look to the Lord and give him a call.
He'll be there for you.  He'll see you through.
He never sleeps.  He never sleeps.
He's too busy watching over you.
***

Sleepless nights the Lord spends on you.
Ever keeping all harm far from you.
Watching your life.  Seeing you through.
Yes, the Lord is watching over you.

The Lord, he's watching over you.

A Prayer of Old for Today

A Prayer of David

Listen, Adonai, and answer me, for I am poor and needy. Preserve my life, for I am faithful; save your servant, who puts his trust in you because you are my God.

Take pity on me, Adonai, for I cry to you all day. Fill your servant’s heart with joy, for to you, Adonai, I lift my heart.

Adonai, you are kind and forgiving, full of grace toward all who call on you.

Listen, Adonai, to my prayer; pay attention to my pleading cry. On the day of my trouble I am calling on you, for you will answer me.

There is none like you among the gods, Adonai; no deeds compare with yours. All the nations you have made will come and bow before you, Adonai; they will honor your name. For you are great, and you do wonders; you alone are God.

Adonai, teach me your way, so that I can live by your truth; make me single-hearted, so that I can fear your name. I will thank you, Adonai my God, with my whole heart; and I will glorify your name forever. For your grace toward me is so great! You have rescued me from the lowest part of Sh’ol.

God, arrogant men are rising against me, a gang of brutes is seeking my life, and to you they pay no attention.

But you, Adonai, are a merciful, compassionate God, slow to anger and rich in grace and truth.

Turn to me, and show me your favor; strengthen your servant, save your slave-girl’s son. Give me a sign of your favor, so that those who hate me will see it and be ashamed, because you, Adonai, have helped and comforted me.

Psalm 86

10/7/21

Do you really?

Trust God?

IN the letter to the Corinthians Paul says,
..."for we are a people who live by trust, not by what we see."
(2 Corinthians 5:7 Complete Jewish Translation)

These are surely perilous times we live in.
Anyone who says otherwise is deceiving you, and surly is deceived himself.

If you take the scripture in context, read what Paul is saying, he is encouraging even exhorting us to believe, to have faith to take our faith to a deeper level. To really TRUST God.
When everything in this world, when everything in OUR world, seems to be collapsing around us and not going according to plan.

"We know that when the tent which houses us here on earth is torn down...."
Paul is talking about our very lives. Our physical bodies.
He goes on to encourage us by saying,

"We have a permanent building from God, a building not made by human hands, to house us in heaven."

Paul continues under the powerful influence of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) to describe in such detail the suffering of the delicate human existence of a servant of God (us as believers) and then the powerful resurrection reward of the faithful child of God. Those who walk by faith, trusting in God's promises, not being moved by their circumstances.

Something  easily obtained?
I would say not.

But, think about it. Seriously, just for a second, think about it.

Should it be?

Even Paul, who was Saul, all the suffering that he went through in his life, as a believer says it  won't be an easy life for us. However, Paul, after everything he endured in his physical body, (the multiple stonings, beatings, starvings, imprisonments, over and over again. Even almost to death, where unto Paul desired even so himself to die)
Still in the midst of all this, Paul reaches out to encourage those of us who are faithful to walk by faith and not just by what we can see. Letting us know God has not forgotten us and will reward us greatly!

Paul tells us in his letter to the Romans that, "I do not believe that the sufferings that we go through now are even worth comparing with the Glory that is revealed to us in the future."
(Romans 8:18 Complete Jewish Translation)

Unfathomable
I don't know about YOU but I am greatly encouraged by this!

The Lord has NOT forgotten YOU!
The LORD makes ALL things NEW.
Remain faithful and remember,
"If God be for you who can be against you?"

Be blessed!
Love ~ JoY and Shalom in the beautiful, awesome, mighty name of our Messiah Yeshua!
